Latest News and Upcoming Event

Dates for your Diary

There are some important dates coming up for you to pop into your diary:

- Junior Presentation day. Sunday 2nd September from 2pm

This will cover Kwak’s, U11, U13 and U15 and there will be some fun   games on the 2nd pitch so please bring your kit. We are also planning a barbecue and with a Sunday Friendly game on, it should be a fun day for all.

- Scarifying the Main Square, Friday 21st September from 10am

We have the Groundsman’s trailer booked on Friday and we will be scarifying the main square. This is a important end of season job and it is very physical work handling the scarifier, so we need plenty of willing hands

- End of Season ground work, Saturday 22nd September from 9am

We need to get the ground and facilities ready for the Winter. There are lots of jobs to be done so please come down and land a hand. The more hands the better and there are plenty of jobs for everyone to get involved.

All Stars starts ends with a flourish

Our All Stars programme formally finished on 24th July, but there was so much enthusiasm from the All Stars that we really had to carry on and sessions have continued, to run to Tuesday 11th September. Special thanks go to Jack W, our All Stars Activator, and our All Stars Coaches/Helpers, Tom C, Georgie H, Chris S and Andrew G. We couldn't have done it all without you!

It has been a great first season for the All Stars at Hilton CC. Many of the All Stars have had the opportunity to play some kwilk cricket and the improvements in playing cricket have been fantastic. Looking forward to next season many of the All Stars will progress into our Kwik cricket programme and some will join our U11 hardball squad!

Our All Stars season included Hilton All Stars providing a Guard of Honour at the T20 Blast match, Derbyshire Falcons vs Lancashire Lightening and then on the final training day on 24th july we hada presentation were all the All Stars received a medal and we had a special treat for them with Lynne Land bringing her amazing dogs to put on a show for the All Stars. Even the Mums, Dads, Grandads, Grandmas really enjoyed the show.
