Latest News and Upcoming Events

Winter Training Programme

Our Winter Training and nets programme will start on Sunday 8th January at Etwall Leisure Centre. Juniors will be at 5pm to 6.30pm followed by U15, U17 and Senior combined training at 6.30pm to 8pm. Costs for the 12 session programme are £50 or £5 per individual session.

AGM

The minutes from the Club’s AGM held on the 20-10-2016 are included under latest news. There are also copies of the annual welfare report, club accounts, amended Club Constitution and the results of a member survey that we ran on our presentation evening (see below)

Club Survey

The Club got some really useful feedback from the survey that Rachel B ran on the club presentation evening. 26 people completed the survey and it was pleasing to see that 88% of respondents thought that the facilities across the club were adequate/ok but there were also some useful suggestions that we need to consider as part of the Clubs Development planning. These include getting more players, more people to share the work within the club, communication within and across the club and better weather. Whilst we would like to, the better weather request might be a bit beyond our abilities. The results of the Survey are included in latest news

Club Mark

The Club have been successful in retaining the Club Mark accreditation and a big thank you to all who supported this reaccreditation process, particularly Glyn Lewis and Rachel Brown.

Volunteer Recruitment

Our club is only as good as the volunteers and helpers who give up their time to put so much into what we do. We are always looking for more volunteers and helpers to undertake a variety of roles, including, junior team managers, coaches, scorers, general helpers, catering for match teas and grounds work, we are also looking for someone to take on a massively important role of leading our fundraising activities (sponsorship, advertising etc). If you can help just talk with our coaches, team managers, captains or Executive Members.
